History

The Hawaii Cyber Lions Club was chartered in May 2019 with the intention of being the first virtual club in District 50. Upon chartering, we were joined by members from across the state, the mainland U.S., and Canada. 

Because of our broad geographical reach, we felt that it was important to not only assist in community service projects across the state whenever and wherever we could, but that we also be able to provide financial support to charitable or community service organizations in the communities where our members reside. This led to the creation of the Hawaii Cyber Lions Foundation in August 2020.

The Hawaii Cyber Lions Foundation is organized exclusively to provide financial support for scientific, educational, health, environmental, and charitable purposes; and, to provide support and assist in making more efficient the work of charitable organizations primarily in the communities of locales which members of the Hawaii Cyber Lions Club reside by providing resources including, but not limited to, financial contributions.
